Plan Your Visit to Goldsmiths’ Fair 2025

Every autumn, Goldsmiths’ Fair transforms the magnificent Goldsmiths’ Hall into the UK’s leading showcase of contemporary jewellery. The Fair has showcased leading UK makers in precious metals since 1983. Now in its 42nd year, it remains an essential stop on the international jewellery calendar.

This year’s Fair runs across two weeks, from 23 September to 5 October 2025, with 70 exhibitors each week. Of the 136 participants, 15 are showing for the first time, including ten makers supported by the Emerging Business Bursary scheme, which champions fresh talent and reflects the diverse routes into the trade today. I first attended Goldsmiths’ Fair in 2024 as an Emerging Business Bursary recipient, which was an inspiring introduction to this landmark event.

The Fair is a unique chance to connect directly with makers, experience the diversity of contemporary jewellery and silversmithing, and invest in one-of-a-kind work.

THE SETTING: GOLDSMITHS' HALL

The Fair takes place at Goldsmiths’ Hall, a Grade I listed building in the heart of the City of London - a 2 minute walk from St Pauls Station.

It has served as an assay office and the headquarters of London's goldsmith guild, the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, one of the livery companies of the City of London. The hall is impressive, with gold ceilings and ornate interiors that provide a fitting backdrop for the work on display. It’s worth a visit for the architecture alone.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At Goldsmiths’ Fair, you’ll find:

  • Unique, handmade pieces in gold, silver, platinum, and other precious materials.

  • The chance to meet the makers themselves, who are behind their own stands.

  • A programme of talks and exhibitions explores the craft, design, and stories behind the work. Metals, Myths, and Meaning: From Ritual to Craft, chaired by Debika Ray, looks at how precious metals became symbols of power and transformation. Another talk features Annie Warburton, CEO of The Goldsmiths’ Company, with TF Chan, director of Collect Fair, discussing the industry today.

  • Flexibility with tickets: depending on your choice, you can leave and re-enter the same day or return across both weeks. Perfect if you’d like to make a full day of it with lots of great lunch spots nearby.
