Customisable Jewellery Options

Many of my pieces can be fully customised so that they feel truly personal. Whether this be choosing your particular centre stone, combination of coloured gemstones, selecting the shape or size of the piece, the metal type, or which hidden hand engravings you would like concealed beneath the stones; the options are endless. And this is part of the charm of working with an independent designer - there are so many more options at your disposal.

All of my jewellery is then designed by me in London and crafted in collaboration with expert goldsmiths based in the renowned Hatton Garden.

Types of Customisation

Customisable Collection Pieces

If you’re drawn to a piece from my collection but would like to make it your own, you can customise existing designs to add a personal touch. Below, you’ll find some of my featured collections along with custom options:

Watermelon Sugar

  • I offer a constantly changing selection of over 50 colourful, unique stones. If you’re outside the UK or need help with a starting point, I can select three options based on your brief to help you find the perfect one. I hand-pick matching pavé gemstones to ensure flawless colour combinations, even when using non-tourmaline stones like parti sapphires.

  • These stones can be set in pendants, rings, wide rings, earrings, or more unusual hero designs like my burst rings. For a truly standout piece, I recommend customising my Burst collection or Drop Earrings.

Golden Futures

Small Pendant:

This 6mm octagon pendant is a great size for everyday wear. It can be bought with a hallmark concealed beneath the gemstone, or you can fully customise it:

  • Choose from a selection of stones, including London, Sky and Swiss blue topaz, amethyst, peridot, garnet, citrine, and pink or green tourmaline.

  • Once selected, your choice of hidden symbol is then engraved into the piece and is visible beneath the gemstone, through a window of rich and vibrant colour.

  • This piece is perfect for simple, meaningful designs such as initials, dates or horoscopes. You can start the process by sending a sketch of your design (we can then advise how well the design will work at the scale of 5mm, or whether it should be simplified to achieve the best visual effect.)

Laser engraving provides a beautifully precise finish at a more accessible price than hand engraving.

Larger Pendants:

  • These pendants are hand engraved beneath the gemstone slices to allow for intricate detailing. You can choose any stone, engraving design, and surrounding pavé, with the option to include more elaborate elements in the engraving. For inspiration, recommended designs include the Hummingbird, Sun, and my most popular Evil Eye design.

Larger scale hand engravings allow for more elaborate designs, and the hand cut metal can increase the light and shade contained within the designs.

Golden Futures Rings:

  • Available in three or five stone options, these rings can incorporate multiple small laser engraved symbols, letters, or numbers, making them ideal for creating a symbolic, personal piece.

Well suited as a Push Present or other commemorative ring to represent multiple people or symbols which resonate with the wearer. My mum has one with mine and my siblings' horoscopes hidden beneath our favourite colours!

Golden Futures Signet Rings:

Wedding and Engagement Rings

Engagement Rings (Unisex):

Women’s Rings:

  • Designs including my Levels of Light, Stepping Stones, and Deco rings can all be personalised to include your favourite gemstone types and silhouettes. Natural and lab grown diamonds are also available depending on your preferences. Each design can be been paired with a perfectly stacking wedding ring for a seamless look (you can find these rings via their individual product pages linked above).

Varsity Ring:

  • Showcase your birthstone or favourite gem in this ring front and centre, and add initials into the band on either side for a completely personal touch. A modern twist on a classic High School ring design (commonly found in the US).

Often commissioned as a Push Present. All my nieces and nephews have been commemorated with these rings!

Combining Collections

  • For a piece that is truly unique, designs from different collections can be seamlessly combined.

  • For example (image) this one-of-a-kind ring combines elements from different collections: half Golden Futures, half Watermelon Sugar. It features a bezel-set Watermelon Sugar stone, framed by a green and pink tourmaline, which conceal a personalised engraving of a clover and cherry blossom beneath.

Engraving Existing Pieces

Collection Pieces:

  • Found a piece you love on my website and want to make it your own? Once purchased, all of my collection pieces can be engraved with names, dates, symbols or initials. The type of engraving, whether laser or hand engraved, will be determined by your deadline, budget, and level of detail required. I can provide advice on this during your enquiry.

Please note, once engraved pieces cannot be returned or exchanged. Please read more details in my returns page.

Bespoke Pieces:

  • When commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery, in most cases it is possible to include a custom engraving. For example, the date of your wedding or a personal mantra on the inside of your ring. Please get in touch to discuss in detail.

Engravers are often very busy, so please mention this at the start of the process to ensure there is enough time to get this done ahead of any deadline.

If you are interested in fully bespoke options, including repurposing your existing gemstones, and want to learn more about the process you can read about this process here. A quick overview of either of these are as follows:

  1. Repurposed Jewellery

Repurposing gives you the chance to design a new piece with your own gemstones, whether taken from a family heirloom or starting with loose stones. It is a way to preserve sentimental value whilst creating a piece that suits your style. The lead time for repurposing projects is usually 6-8 weeks with potential for expedited timelines if needed (additional charges may apply).

Please note, when using customers own gemstones, this is at the customers own risk. More details on these terms can be provided upon request.

  1. Fully Bespoke

A fully bespoke project is completely unique. You can start with one of my designs or create a wholly new concept. I will source all the gemstones for you. Please note that the lead time is usually 6-8 weeks with potential for expedited timelines (additional charges may apply) and the minimum spend is £2000.
