If you need a faster service this can usually be arranged but will be at an additional cost. Please get in touch directly at info@genevieveschwartz.com to discuss options.
Your order will be shipped in Genevieve Schwartz branded packaging in an unbranded external envelope or box. If you would like a hand written gift note please get in touch and I will arrange this for you.
A signature will be required upon receipt so please provide a delivery address where someone will be present to receive it. If no one is available a calling card will be left which will advise on collection or redelivery. Once I have sent your parcel I will forward the tracking details onto you via email.
Please be aware that delivery costs as stated above do not include import taxes or customs. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and the customer must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which your products are destined. Genevieve Schwartz Jewellery will not be liable for any breach or misconduct. We are also not responsible for any costs incurred due to customs delays.
All delivery times are subject to the availability of the courier. The delivery times stated above are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Genevieve Schwartz Jewellery and/or the courier are not liable for any delays or responsible for any compensation if orders arrive outside of the estimated timeframe.
Collection
Alternatively, if you are based in or around London, you are welcome to collect your piece from The Goldsmiths’ Centre where I am based. Please find full address and opening hours below:
The Goldsmiths’ Centre
42 Britton St,
London EC1M 5AD
Open Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm. Please note, the centre is not open on the weekends.
Please contact me once you have bought your piece and we can make arrangements for collection. If arrangements have been made but you have already paid for shipping on the website, I will happily refund this cost.
Delivery Times
If the piece is in stock and ready to ship, please follow the chart above to ascertain delivery times frames.
If the piece is not in stock but is a collection piece, please allow 4-6 weeks from the time of order. Maximum delivery time is 8 weeks but you will be notified if this applies to your order.
If you have limited time please get in touch with me directly to discuss pieces which are ready to ship. The Ready To Ship page will also be updated regularly.
Returns and Exchanges
I hope you will love your new jewellery, if however you are not fully satisfied with your purchase I will be happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 30 days of purchase.
Alternatively I will refund a sale of an unmodified collection piece if it is returned unworn and in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt of the order.
Unless structurally faulty, pieces which are exempt from exchange or refund are as follows:
- Any collection piece that has been modified specifically for your order. For example a custom chain length or ring size, or if the stone shape or colour has been changed from the original. This also includes any engraved jewellery.
- Made to order pieces
- Bespoke pieces
Please notify us of your desire to return a piece via email. Once approved, please then return the piece in its original packaging and include your order number and contact details inside the package. You will then be refunded to your original payment method. Please be aware that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process refunds.

UK Returns
When making a return, we recommend using a signed for and tracked service (ie Royal Mail Special Delivery). This is not a pre-paid service and you will be responsible for covering this cost.
If the order you made included free shipping, if the item is returned this cost will be deducted from the refund amount. This only applies to refunds, not exchanges.
International Returns
When making a return from outside of the UK, you as the customer will be responsible for any customs charges due on the item for it to be returned to the UK. These charges will be deducted from the final refund amount. International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the UK. We recommend returning via a trackable insured courier service. Genevieve Schwartz Jewellery is not responsible for any return order in transit.
GSJ reserves the right to decline any orders.
Repairs
All of my work is quality controlled before it is sent out to customers. If however you feel your piece has a structural fault, please return it to me for a full inspection. Please note, if your jewellery has been modified or reworked by another jeweller, the repair warranty will no longer be valid.
If you experience any issues with your purchase, which is although unlikely, can occur due to the nature of handmade jewellery please contact me at info@genevieveschwartz.com. I will assess the problem and offer solutions. I am committed to keeping my customers happy and will do my best to resolve any problems.
Please do not ship any repairs without contacting me first. And please send all repairs fully insured via a signed and tracked courier service.
Please note, certain repairs may be subject to a fee.
The Natural World of Jewellery
As all jewellery is made from natural and not man-made materials, some slight variations can occur in metal and stone colour, as well as in stone size within reason.
Please also be aware that due to the nature of digital screens and their varying calibrations some jewellery can appear differently in real life. If you are not happy with how the piece appears upon receipt, and it was Ready to Ship, I would be happy to exchange it within 30 days according to the policy above. So long as the piece has not been made to order for you, or created bespoke.
Insuring your Jewellery
I strongly recommend insuring your jewellery. Although I am certain you will do your best to make sure your jewellery is kept safe and protected, accidents can still happen. So it is important to put provisions in place to ensure you can always replace your jewellery or cover its value.
Caring for Your Jewellery
I use only the highest quality materials in my jewellery and design and make my jewellery to last. But no natural materials are indestructible (including diamonds) so please take care whilst wearing them.
Accidental knocks against hard surfaces can affect the structural integrity of a piece or risk damaging gemstones, and lotions and perfumes can also have an affect on certain stones. So please do take care whilst wearing your jewelery and remove it before any activity which may cause damage.
I include a care card with every order which outlines detailed instructions on how to care best for your jewellery. If you have lost this and would like another copy, please email me at info@genevieveschwartz.com and I would be happy to send it over to you as a PDF.
